Why It's Cult

Down Periscope is what happens when you cross The Hunt for Red October with Stripes. Grammer is a perfect rogue captain — Frasier with a torpedo room. The supporting cast (Lauren Holly, William H. Macy, Harland Williams) is loaded. Released between Frasier seasons and largely forgotten on theatrical release; lived on cable for thirty years. The cult is strong but private.
